For many of us, a Luxury car is the kind of car a head of state uses. Not an SUV, not a Sportscar. They might be as expensive and well built, but they are not the same thing.
I think the ML is a great SUV.

The M class has been slated as chronically unreliable and of shoddy construction by New Zealand's Dog and Lemon Guide. However the ML is supposed to be better than the M. Would not be hard, if the M was as bad as they say. Basically if I wanted such a vehicle I'd buy a Toyota or perhaps Nissan. Do not buy a Land-Rover Freelander, they have an appalling reputation.

Seems like you're looking for a premium midsized SUV? I don't consider Merc ML a luxury car... It looks pretty dull... Why don't you consider a Lexus RX or an Infiniti FX? Merc Ml too isn't bad but if i were you, i'd consider a Japanese SUV which is more efficient, reliable and better looking because i don't wanna spend most of my time in garages..

I wouldn't quite call it a luxury car. Premium mid-size SUV is quite a bit more like it. But that's just an opinion.

yes, we had a 2005 ML 350, fully loaded. Great car.You'll love it if you get one, ours was white with tinted windows.
