I love Toyota, but, I hear that ppl w/ scions really appreciate them and I've heard a few issues w/ the yaris...

Hey again, I just came back to edit my answer cause I had to tell ya, I just ran out to do some errands... and I saw a Scion xA (really great car btw - love the look and all that...) - and anyway; I thought of you/your question. Is that sad or what? I SOOOOOOOO NEED A LIFE!!!!!!!! hahahahaaaaaaaaa........ :O

Remember .. Both are Toyotas.. But i'd stick with the yaris.. because it is spacious. Plus the yaris is actually a reimaged Echo. check the history of the car.

yaris didnt do well in crash tests...and the scion xA is awesome...i was able to snag one with a ton of features and the base price drives awesome...its pretty and the seats fold back easy for larger trunk space

depends if you want a runabout or looking for something more personal (club car- shows, runs etc), scion (or db in japan) can be made to look a s##hload better then a poxy yaris, trawl thru ebay.com and see (search 'custom'). (i hate stock cars, all are just a compromise for everyone's taste's- not your own!)

Oh god, I wouldnt get either. I drove them against a mazda hatchback and that owned them both, even though it was not really that great.
Im waiting for jeep to come out with its two small SUV's that get like 30mpg and have a variable transmission. I think they are going for about 15k, and they have interiors that you can wash out with a hose, mp3 jacks, all time 4wd, and tons more.
