My car got into an accident where the other driver is at fault. Enterprise rental car company said that the insurance won't cover the optional waivers. Should I pay 15 dollars a day for the optional waivers?

I live in CA and went to the DMV and they said that it's impossible to look up without knowing the plate number. Specifically, he is a truck driver and I know he has at least one truck. How can I get the title to the truck and then sell it? The DMV suggested that I contact the lien owner of the truck, though I'm not sure who that is? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I am 18 and will be buying my first car. I love the old school muscle cars of the 60's and 70's. Several conditions:
Good classic looks
affordable
relatively reliable
easy to maintan

Since i am a first time buyer, I am open to all makes and models as long as it is a muscle car or muscle car-esque and it meets the above conditions.

Hey! I just picked up a '96 Cavalier (only $400 ;) and the speakers in the doors are pretty crappy! I want to put in some older speakers I had from my last car. I can't seem to get the door panel off though because I can't figure out how to remove the window crank and the handle that opens the door from the inside.

How can I go about doing this?? Any help would be appreciated!

So my the power window in the left rear of my car stopped working. There is no sound whatsoever when I hit the button, so its not working at all ..... The other windows work fine. So, should I purchase a new electric window motor or could it be a relay, or some other crazy "Hoo-Yah" contraption in the door?

I have a 1997 olds aurora and out of nowhere the front tire started makin this loud noise.. like a rubbing noise but its not rubbing anything. its worse when i turn right but not as bad when i turn left and not at all when goin forward. My powerstearing if fine.. What else should i be looking 4?

I haven't had A/C in my 1995 Mercedes E320 for the past two summers. The shop first replaced the A/C panel, but that didn't fix things. Next, they recommend fixing the hose, which they estimate at about $1,000. If that doesn't work, I'm facing a replacement of the compressor for around $2,500. I'm looking for the least expensive way to make this happen.

I have two options, I know it is a weird comparison. I truly want a IS350 though but now it's just down to $$$. But if I get a 2006 Toyota Tacoma my mom will buy it for me. I have to make a decision by tommrrow. I figured I'll take the Tacoma and drive it, while saving up the money for the car I truely want. What would you guy do? I will be making 40grand a year at my job. My commute will be 70miles roundtrip to work.

2007 Lexus IS350 is 42K out the door. My mom will give me $5000. Meaning I have to pay $37,000 + $2400 insurance. Payment should be almost $900 a month for 5yr loan which includes insurance.

2006 Toyota Tacoma V6 4 Door Double Cab. She buys it. I just pay her $300 a month including insurance as long as I drive it.

I have to reinstate my license to the state of Florida but I live in Ohio at the moment.... My license was suspended due to not having insurance so they sent me a letter stating that I needed to do the following: "Purchase a personal injury protection (PIP) and property damage liability (PDL) insurance policy."

My question is: does that mean just regular liability, cheap-o insurance? or is that some kind of special insurance? I am currently thinking about gettin regular, cheap insurance from Progressive.com
