well, if you dont want to have to pay for any damages out of your pocket, it would be well worth the extra money, just in case something does happen.

Check this out with your local insurance agent, they will be able to tell you if you are covered for a rental vehicle or not. If your are insured for this, DO NOT take the rental company's waiver protection! It is only free money for them at this point.

This is commission for the company however if you crack windshield or tire has to be replaced and you do not take the insurance you will have to pay out of your pocket. If it was me and I was only having the vehicle for a couple of day's, I would not pay the $15.00 a day. Anything over a week, I would pay.

Before you rent the vehicle, verify with your credit card company and your auto insurance company (or agent) to see if covered.

if you have a complete auto policy on you your covered when driving any casr and those things from before dont mean any thing towards them they are just hoseing you for the cash waivers what crapola ask your insurance guy about it

I think most major credit cards offer default coverage if you use the card to pay for the rental.
Check with your card issuer.

get an American Express card rent the car with it and you wont need it ,AM EX covers you,free,member service
