Bimmers tend to be a lot safer than many other cars on the road. I guess for the price you pay initially though they should be, but I think the reasoning behind them being safer cars is the metal used to make them. Some of the Japanese car companies like Honda, Toyota etc use recycled metal to make their vehicles, BMW does not its pure, making things stronger and tougher upon impact. As someone else said Volvo does the same thing making them very safe as well.

Just because you saw a BMW crash doesn't mean it is not safe.

bmw is a safe car, but volvos are safer and bmw s suck cause bmw stands for break my window cause they are broken into frequently and the miidlle part or console is always stolen ,and since it is a foriegn car you must go to the special part store with higher prices and when you walk in and look up, you see rip off kit ,hanging on the wall, which is what you now need for your car, makes you wonder if the chop shop doesnt exist for these auto part stores who make you keep paying for your break my window once you drive it off the dealership lot.

BMW's have been proven to be safer than Volvo's, they don't need to brag about it
