I would like to use bio diesel in my Kia Carnival (Sedona) 2.9 crdi as it is significantly cheaper here in Germany. Is it possible to use as a 100% alternative to 'normal' diesel or do I have to mix it.

I'm selling my old car (old as in 1989!) and have a notice in the back window. A woman phoned me last night and said she wanted to buy the car, didn't want a test drive or look it over, would pay me a deposit at the weekend and pay the rest and take the car the following Saturday when her son comes home. I'm a bit worried because who buys a car without looking it over and at least having a drive round the block? It's an old, cheap car, with tax and MOT valid for the next few months, but I feel a bit suspicious, she seemed too eager. Can anyone advise?

I think is quite silly have such a differences... there are international laws talking about it? ... there are an agreement between countries?...
It make much more difficult to drive, to sell cars, and get in use to it...

I have an 89 firebird and just recently I started to smell gas... I checked but there was no obvious leak... today I checked and it is leaking almost a continuous drip underneath by the gas tank. Should it still be somewhat safe to drive until I get it repaired... and no I dont smoke so I dont have to worry about that!

My 2001 Toyota highlander broke down 200 miles from my home the Friday of 4th of July weekend so I called a nearby AAMCO since they were open on Saturday. They told me that I needed to rebuild, by a new or put in a used transmission so I went with the used transmission option, which they quoted me at $2,555 to complete the work. In addition, I ended up paying $620 for a rental because AAMCO did not complete the replacement by the end of the following week. After driving home, I was relieved but unsure of whether AAMCO took advantage of me…a month later, my engine light came on and I took it to a local service center. I shared what happened with the transmission, complaining that I could not afford any more money. The service shop looked under the hood, fixed the engine light and said I better investigate AAMCO because it looks like the transmission has never been taken out and the only problem that appears to be fixed in relation to the transmission was connecting a couple of hoses that cost about $100.

Why, oh why, are there roundabouts with 2 lanes that give you a choice for going straight from either of the 2 lanes? This is annoying as i see daily incidents of near collisions between vehicles, and people trying to race so they come out first on the other side. I understand this may reduce traffic at busier roundabouts but i am talking about small non-congested local ones. One lane should be for staright or left turns, and the other for going right. Anyone agree?

I have a '86 Volvo GLE that when it did run it would back-fire with a loud bang. Now, it will start and idle, but will not drive. It simply dies when I put it in gear.

Does anybody have any feedback/possible answer to whats wrong with my car?

It's very important because it's my only car and I have 5 kids to get back and forth all over town.

Thank you in advance for any help.
