I had an expired driver's license. I only had $9. I needed a valid identification card to cash a check. So I got a State ID instead. I believe it is only fair that I can renew my driver's license here shortly without taking a driver's test. I'm afraid they are going to try to play it differently. Can anyone share with me their experiences, insights, or general advice? Thank you.

I live in the Channel Islands. We have no trains here but I regularly travel to the UK and use trains each time. I always have my ticket with the destination and time on, and I get the route from the trainline beforehand, but there's nothing to say which platforms the trains go from. I'm ok entering a station at the start of my trip because there are usually monitors up with routes and platforms on, but when I’m changing trains, I’m stumped. If there IS any info on the platform, it just seems to tell me the FINAL destination of trains, not the whole route. I usually rely on memory or run about looking for my trains on the electronic boards on the platforms. I've searched the web over, please tell me how I can find out *before* I travel so I can avoid the mad rushing! I hate asking at the station because people think I'm English and I should know - and everyone else always does seem to know! Except me!! Thank you!

I am in need of a piston for a 1929 Sunbeam, model 8, 350cc motorcycle. The Hepolite number stamped in it is 3238B. The Hepworth & Grandage number casted into it states HG405AM. If it helps the piston is a 70mm bore, slight dome top, with two valve reliefs cut into it. Pin bore is .750.

my fluid has been overfilled and the only way in is thru the tube or to pull the pan(not an option). I tried a small plastic squeeze siphon but it wasn't strong enough to bring it up.

Where can I find instructions on how to do an oil change on a certain specific car? More to the point, how do I get step by step instructions to do one? Since I've never done one by myself.

Why do people think Kicker, JL audio, alpine and the such are the best brands out there, they are far from such. It seems nobody's ever heard of RE Audio, Adassa, Treo, and there are many more to add. True kicker, jl ect. are good brands but dont say they are the best unless you actually know about most of the brands out there, in which case you wouldnt say they were the best.

I have a brand new 2006 Hyundai Sonata. Just this week, when my car sits for about 4 hours, I start it up and there is a horrible loud squealing noise from the front right of the car. It lasts about 3 to 5 seconds and is gone. If I start my car after a couple minutes or while the engine is still warm, there is no sound. There are no other problems besides that. It doesn't sound like a fan belt squeal. It almost sounds like there is something getting caught in the fan and shredded up while it's squealing. I have only had the car for a month. I knew I shouldn't have gotten rid of my Toyota Corolla!!!

Any ideas??? Of course if I take it to the dealer, the noise won't happen unless it sits for hours. I just need something to get me started to figure out what is wrong...

My father passed away and I need to sell his boat. It is a 1978 Trojan flybridge sedan 32ft with 2 1990 t-240hp engines. It needs work. Just wondering if anyone could tell me what a good asking price might be. we want to price it to sell. But I know nothing about boats and don't know where to start. I don't want to price to high or to low.

thanks for any help with this.
Jeri
