I'm considering converting my cabriolet to R134A. Is there a special conversion kit for my car? What other parts am I going to have to replace? How painful is the process? I work on my cars all the time, I've just never actually screwed with the A/C before.

I'm looking for a way to determine a base value, similar to a kelly blue book, for classic volkswagons. I am mostly looking at the VW Beetles from the 60's. Is there a resource similar to the blue book to help me out?

Can anyone recommend a durable waterproof, heat resistant and breathable bike cover for a 600cc motorbike for the winter? Suggestions on manufacturers or material would be appreciated.

I will be purchasing a Nissan 1993 300 ZX Convertable non turbo from a seller. This car has 101,000 miles and has been kept up very well as I can see on the outside of car. I drove the car it runs great, Car is fulley loaded. You can tell car was kept up ver well.My concern is the miles, can you tell me how long cars like this last on miles, and what the prices of these cars should be selling for. The seller is asking $8,500 is that good or do you think its worth getting the price down.I just do not want to be ripped off, or stranded on the side of the freeway.
Thanks

I bought a car last night in TX. The old car I traded in only had liability insurance. But I need to get a full coverage on this new one since I am making payment. How many days do I have to take care of this before it becomes violation? Or was I supposed to get insurance even before purchasing one? Does anyone know? Thanks.

I went to fill my diesel landcruiser last week and picked up the wrong pump.Only after smelling the difference , i realised that i had put 2 litres of petrol in .I then filled the diesel to the top--(about 80 litres)--I have had no troubles with the cruiser, and i have actualy got twice the millage out of it and it is performing perfect.I see no overheating ,and it runs like a dream.I am not putting my foot on the pedal as much and its cruising--Are we getting ripped off with our fuels or what?--dont tell me my cruiser (engine ) is going to blow up----I am now in my second week and i travel 60 klms to work and back -6 days a week.--I have used half a tank, instead of 2 full tanks??--serious answers please,(i am a very good mechanic myself and this has me stumbled)???

I bought a car from a delaer yesterday. I don't have time to go and take care of the full coverage auto insurance on this car until lext week. I asked a dealer what happens if the car gets in accident. They said the car does not have any coverage and I need to take care of the insurane right away.

Someone told me that, actulally, the dealer has coverage on the vehicle for 3,4 days after a cutomer buys it and drive away with it. They just don't want you to know that because they don't want to pay in case of accident. Is that true?

Thanks.
