Can anyone recommend a durable waterproof, heat resistant and breathable bike cover for a 600cc motorbike for the winter? Suggestions on manufacturers or material would be appreciated.

I use one of the motoGP merchandise ones, most places sell for about £25-35. It's waterproof, breathable, durable, a good fit and has nothing that can scratch my bike. You'll find one on any good mail order website.

I got a beauty out of Lidl for 7 quid last year.

What I can NOT recommend is those silvery ones that look like tin foil. I spent 36 quid on one of them 3 years ago and I only got 2 winters out of it. They go all wrinkly with the wind, and the silver flakes off. Stay well clear.

Oxford make a good one, breathable etc. to suit that size bike.

They used to also do a pack with a cover, heated grips, and and oximiser for a great low price.

Might be worth looking into if they still do it.

The expenses are extreme using fact they dont reckon lots on your possibilities of not crashing, so there's a message for you there concerning to the bike and your use of it and your levle of adventure. the easy answer is save around lots and think of difficult in case you like particluar components of the conceal it is expensive. I constantly call 4 or greater businesses at renewal time, and then pass back to the single i'm with and ask them to requote as I also have a greater low-value one variety somebody else. frequently they'll journey greater clever expenses to maintain you. in case you have a attractive bike, this is that the possibility of theft is putting u the cost, so ask notwithstanding if setting up greater clever protection woud drop the quote. I as quickly as saved the cost of a extreme spec alarm in 2 years of decrease rates. think of approximately using the bike. in case you holiday then which will upload lots. DO you honestly could desire to try this? consistent with danger the saving woudl pay for the cost of public transport. do you like their breakdown and criminal conceal. decrease out the extras and see what consequence that has. in case you have not yet offered the bike, then think of approximately whther you like considered one of those precision gadget yet. once you're a sparkling rider a posh sportsbike would be a extreme danger on account which you have a extensive danger of coming off, hitting yet another street consumer etc etc. when I have been given my licence i offered a cheapish old sportsbike that grew to become right into slightly much less fancy than woudl be suited, yet grew to become into greater low-value to insure and mattered much less if I crashed or dropped it. After 2 years, I have been given my RSV, and had NCB to make it low-value. carry out a little stepped forward training it is known via insurers. which will drop your rates using fact people who've had greater beneficial than the bare minimum mandatory to bypass their tet are much less possibly to crash, sturdy for the insurer and robust for you. in case you like the numbers for each and all of the enormous bike businesses, get a motorbike or experience magazine as they're interior the back. I in no way hardship with 0870 numbers because it sort of appears like a company that desires to make money out of my call can't be very aggressive. Oh - and attempt to not get any/to any extent further factors on your licence!
