5-Star Shine car polish?

Question

Has anyone tried this product? 5-Star car products (polish, wax, etc) http://www.5starshine.com/

Any comments...good or bad are appreciated!

Brake fluid , huh? Are you being serious? Have you used it?

Eric...first off, whatever you do, DON'T get brake fluid anywhere near your car...it will ruin your paint job. The other guy's being a jerk.

About the polish...this is a fad polish that's just a way to part you with your money. No good wax or polish will last 5 years without reapplication...there are a lot of "wonder waxes" like this, and they are all junk. Don't waste your money.

My advice is to go to your local Auto Zone, Advance Auto parts, or similar store and peruse what they have. Some good polishes and waxes that I personally use on my Corvette are brands like Zymol, Meguiar's, and Mother's. You want to use a good cleaner wax (like the Zymol) and follow with a good carnauba wax (Meguiar's is what I use) for the best results. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully...and remember to wash and dry the vehicle before you wax it...and never wax a car in the sun or when it's hot to the touch.
