When I signed we verbally agreed I can get out of it if I want. I usually contact him when I find houses online but Im the one always finding the houses to look at. Correct me if I'm wrong but I feel like having him call these agents will end up in me paying more for the house since they are splitting the commissions. Do I have to honor this agreement?

So, people bought houses in and around my neighborhood, made some quickie superficial "fixes" and put 'em back on the market. Months later they're still for sale. I have to laugh... or should I feel sorry for them?

So I live in Forest Hill, TX and this last week we had tons of companies asking
us to lease them our mineral rights since they are very interested in having a
well 2 miles way from our properties, we had meeting in city hall and all that
but they don't give you more information than you would find in the Internet. I
own .5 an acre so I know I'm not getting a big bonus at first round $1500 and
then 25% royalties from this company. I know I have to get a surface use waiver
so they don't put a rig in my land, but this is the question no ones seems to
answer, is there any damage to my land and property? Is it worth it to go over
the trouble of researching other companies and their going rate? Anything bad I
should know? I know big companies have been relocating to Fort Worth since it
seems the barnett shale it's pretty big and lucrative, are we the property
owners getting screwed over? Being underpaid for the good and being left over
with the bad like water pollution?"

I know people who took out interest only loans a few years ago are now feeling the hurt, but what about people who take out interest only loans now? Here's one that's been proposed to me for a 1080 sq. foot townhome in southern california: 1st @ 6.125%, 5 year fixed adjustable after 5 years. 2nd @ 8.875% due in 15 years (balloon payment) 5 year prepayment penalty of the equivalent of 6 months interest. What do you think?

i have three situations.... 1. me and my boyfriend moved into a unit and then let two other young girls move in, these girls thought they could do whatever they wanted had parties and used the phone non stop at my house. On top of that my sister and her friend moved in and basically ran our bills up. Rent wasnt being paied so we packed up the house and moved without the two groups of girls. Or bond was taken from us becoz of damages they had caused to my house (e.g hole in the wall, dirty marks on walls, cigarette marks in carpet, sky high phone bills, unpaid rent and unpaid bills) i sent a letter with the phone bills and rent bills to one of the girls parents and never got a reply. Ive been asking these two groups of girls for the money for a year now and they still wont pay up. The only evidence i have is the phone bill and mabey some utilities bills and typed up rent reciepts of owings. On top of this when we moved i let my best friend move in which was fine until she hadnt paid me

I recently entered in to an agreement to purchase a pretty fantastic home for my family in New Brunswick, Canada. I am to the point of the transaction where I am doing the final walk through and we close on Friday.

Long story short, between our last visit on the final walk through we found the power had been cut, pipes froze, extensive damage to living room, kitchen, basement and electrical. The home is not in a livable state.

At this point is it too late to walk, or do we have to wait for the seller to arrange repairs through insurance, himself, or monetary compensation?

There is no reason for them to come and inspect our apartment...They gave this notice to everyone in the building. Im from CALIFORNIA by the way...It just dont sound right to me...In the notice they stated that they will be coming in with their master key if no one is home. This doesnt sound legal...is it??
