I want to purchase a commercial real estate property, preferably a retail or office property. How do I find a good agent to help me out since I'm a complete novice? Specifically, what are some good screening questions I should ask him/her to make sure they know what they're doing- beyond just the standard "how long have you been doing this" kind of stuff?

Family person looking for a new start in Spain on a low buget, looking toward running a Pub/Taverna in a busy area, need rooms for young children & close to a good school, close to a beach might be nice.
Any advice accepted, within reason! (as we do get some jokers replying just for the odd points earned.)

I would like to offer my home as lease to own - it took the neighbor over 9mnths to sell their similar house and they took a big loss. Any opinions on doing this and do you think I could get someone pretty quick? Any warnings on what to put on the contract? Would a $2,500 non-refund option with $250/mnth of the rent going to towards the purchase price be okay?

I have an old house in my city's trendy neighborhood. Over the last 15 years it has appreciated at a ridiculous rate. But it is too small and inconvenient. I could rent it out for at least twice the mortgage, but I kind of dread being a landlord.

I want to move to a part of town where my dollar buys a much better house, but the new house will not appreciate like this one has.

Sell or rent?

If I want to move into a new flat at the beginning of July, when should I start looking?

I will be renting, not buying- I understand the market moves really fast and have been told before to only come into the estate agents office 3 weeks before I need to move, that just seems too short a time.

right now we are throwing away 1,295.00 away in rent for a 3 bedroom appartment. we have poor credit so we cant get a loan. Is it wise to buy a trailer so hopfully we can get out of debt and get a house, or is there a better way to acheive my goal? Unfortunatly neither my husband or I have a lot of knowlage on financial issues. they are a little hard to understand.

My grandparents are in their 70s and are still working, despite their being retired. They are required to continue working to pay the bills so I am wanting to propose to them the idea of a reverse mortgage with me paying them and then taking over the property after they are deceased. Is this possible and if so who do I need to contact and what kind of paperwork do I need?

I think it sounds too good to be true. How can a person with bad credit buy a home with no money down and then even get money back at closing?! Before I waste my money on it I wanted to know if it's worth it and how does it work? Thanks

My client has a service that allows real estate agents to promote their listings online (http://www.vflyer.com) by distributing to the major online marketplaces, email and widgets.

I want to know what is the most cost-effective, efficient and scalable way to promote the service to real estate agents.

Marketing ideas we are considering and evaluating are:
1. Direct Mail Using Postcards
2. Email (Opt-out) marketing
3. Fax Marketing
4. Sponsorships

Not sure which are most effective or which real estate agents are most open to. Would love to get some input. We want to get their message out since everyone who uses it loves it out but they don't want to be too intrusive or have our message considered spam.

We would love creative ideas to reach large numbers of real estate professionals inexpensively.

He doesn't deposit the rent instead spends on his habit. How can I find out this information? His mother knows but has no tough love. I Need Help! Besides what to do to the son!
