i found a house in indiana that is 6 brms / 3 bath but the last family trashed it. they spread garbage all over the house including "dirty diaper smear" on the walls. they took out all the appliances and even took the kitchen sink and cabinets.
the outside of the house is beautiful and it is in a small town of about 300 people. it doesnt look to have any structural damage but it could possibly have some plumbing issues due to being a forclosure. the walls and ceilings look ok but i was wondering,,,,,,, what would you be willing to pay for such a house? i am trying to come up with a fair price to offer the bank.

Filed bankruptcy 2 yrs ago-- mortgage has went up over $150, beginning jan 2007- its hard to stay working in michigan right now. My credit is horrible because of work. What is the implications if I walk away from this mortgage and become a renter?? I have already trashed my credit with the bankruptcy, I do not want to trash it more of course. What the heck does a person do, can t refi (lower payment-havent refied since 2002)because of bad credit. I know my house is worth at least $20000 more than what I owe on it. But no lenders will touch this situation. So what freaking options does one have??

I own a large piece of land in the Catskills which was already legally subdivided before I purchased the property. There is a 4 acre lot (with the house on it), as well as 10 acre parcel surrounding that. Then there are two adjacent lots of 2 acres each, as well as a 2.5 acre lot and I believe one smaller 1/2 acre lot.
Roughly how much will the survey cost and what would be included (ie. will they stake or mark the different lots in some way, will they provide a small map of some sort, will they "walk the land" with me to point out the different boundaries)? Also, what info will I need to provide them prior to starting the survey (ie. will they be able to determine which plots of land I are mine on their own)?
Thanks!

I have been renting an apartment for a year now.. and I just cant seem to afford it, so I gave my notice a month ago, and I'm moving at the end of this month... The problem is I can't afford to pay the rest of this month's rent... I've paid half but I cant afford the other half... my landlady is calling everyday asking about it, even though I tell her I can't pay her now... What can I do? Is there any action I can take??

I did make $75,000 on the sale but the first house was sold for less than I bought it for. I also refinanced my mortgage and pulled out $33,000 cash (of course has to be paid back) Is all this considered income when doing my taxes? Money from home, money from cash out loan??? I have used the cash for living expenses. I am 55 and in the process of filing disability, if that matters.

I was just informed yesterday by the owner that the manager who lives on-site, is heavily involved with illegal drugs and his life is in danger. Also, the other night, the police were called twice to the apartments because of an alcohol/possibly drug/related disturbance. One of the manager's intoxicated guests also approached my 16 year old son in a confrontational manner. I have four children and I feel their lives, as well as my own, could be in danger. I was told drug dealers are after the manager. I want to break my lease and move out, but I cant afford to get sued and have to pay the additional 4 months left on my lease if I do move out. Is this grounds for me to terminate my lease early?

I am moving next week, and I gave the check to the manager of the new building but the documents we filled out were the application form I just realized that this is not the contract, but he already gave me the key. The check was made to his name and he wrote the amount received on the form. Should I be worried?

I recently went to buy a home. The agent I worked with really forced the in-house lender down my throat. I guess they make more money that way...anyhow, it was very frustrating. My cousin is a mortgage guy and can get really good rates for me. Anyone else have this problem? What can I do about it

The seller had given a registered irrevocabel power of attorny to X during the year 1997 for some consideration( the consideration has not been mentioned in the POA) for the same properety. The holder of the POA has sold the same property to Y during the year 2003. It has come to my knowledge only now. The seller is not giving a proper reply. kindly clarify about my stand in this issue whether my purchase\title deed is valid or the sale by the POA after my sale deed executed by the principal is valid .
