Basically, how much time do landlords have to clear ice from parking lots, side walks, ect.?

Although the laws may vary from state to state, a reasonable amount of time, would be two hours after the end of the storm. That would be to start to clear the ice. It would then depend upon the size of the property, as to the time of completion. If someone is injured during the time that the property is being cleared, then it would be presumed that the landlord was making an effort to comply with all laws.
