As an engineer, i am amazed to see that land's and flat's costs are decided and driven by builders/real estate agent's will/whim for satisfying own grid, corrupt leders and beurocrats (so black money earned is digested here with anonymus titles, i.e. it is said that entire DEccan gym area of pune is purchsed by some leader etc. etc.) u get mrp on match boxes and other trifle products, but not on real estate. how can you tag a price of flat above 5000 to 50000 per sqft s. buit up (?).
if govt. really wants to eliminate major corruption and get india super power, it is only to tag mrp (by genuine people) for land and flats all over india and particularly urbon areas.
this will definitly give homes to poor and middle class families.

I just bought a house and my neighbor keeps his dog right next to my house. They have a small yard so it really has no other place to go. They care about there dog I watch them play with it. It barks ALWAYS. LOUD. REALLY LOUD. Im trying to sell the house and everyone comments. It echoes through the house. I talked to them about it and they just take it in for 5 minutes and then let it back out. No one will buy the house from me like this. Is there a noise complaint I can make? I bought it treats and threw them to him o ver the fence to try and chill it out but no luck. Im gonna kill the neighbors and the dog if I dont get some type of resolution soon.

is this true? So why if we owe on our existing loan $68,000 and we refinance for $76,000 do we have to pay so much money AND lose $4600 of our equity? I am so confused.

Also is there a good amount of renters and are there rental management companies there? Could anyone suggest any areas or cities that might be good. (I don't want to spend over 200,000.)

I have a 6-unit apartment building in Scranton, PA and I've been looking for people to rent my apartments.

I currently only have one apartment being rented and I've been desparate to rent out the rest. I've tried Craigslist.org but all I get are scammers. I've tried posting 'For Rent' signs with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get people to notice my building?

When making an offer on a for sale by owner property:
Does the offer need to be legally drawn up, should earnest money accompany the offer (being held until an agreement is reached and financing found) We know the asking price is too high, and know that we can negotiate with the owners but are unsure which step to take first. Already have been approved for an amount. Please give us a step by step idea of working with the owner. Thanks bunches!!

I have found a foreclosed house in a alright part of town that is listed on the MLS. they are asking 73,500 for the house when comps in the area are 110,000. the drawbacks you might ask, it has a flat roof, which aren't the best sellers in town, needs a new roof, which i have been told by a realtor are approx 10,000 and a new sewer line, which are around 1,500... i love the house and it needs work.. the assesors office values the home around the asking price. the name attached to the property is wells fargo out of north carolina, which is a long way away. what state of forecloser is this house in and does it sound like an alright deal? i don't mind doing the work and i work at an HVAC distributor so i know lots of people. did i mention its original hardwood floors thought out!! what do you think? i am a first time homebuyer so any info would be greatly appreciated!! thank you

We r thinking of moving to a more affordable city and Pittsburgh seems very nice. We need advice about buying a house, like which neighboorhood would be nice and aforable. How is the job market, what would we expect to make there.

On June, 2006 I have rented an apartment in USA.Because of my insufficient English, I didn't know that the lease was 12 months.I thought it was month-to-month.I paid for June and I also paid security deposit. On July, 2006 there has been an emergeny in my country so I had to turn back to my country but I didn't let my landlord know that I was leaving because I was planning to come back again.Unfournately I didn't get a chance to come back again to the USA after I left.Yesterday a lawyer called me from USA and told me that I owe them 3075$.
Now, is it possible to reduce this amount?
What is the worst thing that will happen if I don't pay this amount?
What if I can't afford to pay?
Is there a risk of going to jail?
Thanks in advance.

I have recently moved to Sydney Australia, and as with any decent city these days the prospect of getting enough money together to buy a property here is sadly moving further away despite saving up what we thought to be a good deposit. Does anyone know of any alternative ways of getting cash/loans/help/investment other than banks or credit unions? Maybe you know of churches or other benevolant organisations that are able to give a young, hard working family a hand up. We have considered getting a place in need of moderate renovation or improvement in order to get a cheaper place, as we just desperately want to get on the property ladder - do you know where we can get help and advice so as to see all our options?
We are a mum and dad and baby with a modest single income, working our way towards a respectable deposit and don't really want to blow a large proportion of this on real estate agents fees and the like if we can help it.

selling the property and would like us to cooperate fully with the realtor, showing the house, open houses, etc. I am not comfortable with this and told her so. I also asked to be released from our lease, to which she has not replied. Is there a way I can terminate my lease and still get my deposit back?? We made a large deposit that I do not want to lose. Thanks.

hi all, me and my partner are first time buyers and should be moving in our new house in a few weeks anyway, my partners mum is lending us the 5 percent deposit, which is really good of her. the problem is, is that she says she wants a claw writing up by a solicitor to say if we sell the house or spilt up she will get her money back, which is fine but im sure she is goin to expect intrest on this 5 percent deposit, either that or she wants to own 5 percent of our home, which i dont really like the idea of, does anyone know what a claw is and how we would stand about paying this money back when the time comes eg:is she entitled to intrest or to a share of our home. hope this all makes sence.
