I have a 6-unit apartment building in Scranton, PA and I've been looking for people to rent my apartments.

I currently only have one apartment being rented and I've been desparate to rent out the rest. I've tried Craigslist.org but all I get are scammers. I've tried posting 'For Rent' signs with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get people to notice my building?

Getting an add in the Newspaper is the best. You can also put up fliers around the neighborhood as you never know if one of the neighbors has family or friends that wish to live close by. Fliers at a college is good too.
The internet is not the best place. Your better off spending some money on advertising and getting action. The longer your place sits the more money you are losing.
I would even consider hiring a property manager. Why?
They can usually get them rented faster, and they have all the headaches. They can also screen prospective tenants as you dont want deadbeats.
See what they charge in your area, out West here it is 10% of the rents. But remember they can be negotiable if they get several units. It frees you up to do other things.

Good Luck

post flyers at colleges , churches , different meeting places like this, or you can rent it out as a "retirement center" "over 55"
