okay me and my husband gave $3,000 to this real estate company to help us find a home due to our bad credit. they showed up a home for $185,000 and we took it. as a part of our contract we had to let them take the mortgage payment out of my account and get insurance on the house which they would also take out of my account. we it turns out that the house is only valued at $150,000 and the true home owners are already paying the house insurance. now the home owners are sueing the company to get there house back for non payment which would mean that my money wasn't going toward house payments. can i sue to get everything back or am i screwed? please if you can help me out with what steps i should take them i would be very thankful. serious question so please serious answers

We bought this timeshare and every time we try to use it they say they have no room. How can you sell something and then never provide services and keep asking for money. How do we get out of this contract???

My mortgage on a flat I have has bounced as not enough funds in the account and I have exchanged contracts I am due to complete on Monday 12. The bank and mortgage lender are different. Will they be able to close the mortgage and thus wait until Monday for their last payment as I have a fair bit of equity in the property?

I bought this home from a previous real estate agent who had committed fraud when she sold me the home. She was concerned that I would tell the people in the community that she was a deceitful person so she quickly blackballed me to the community. I decided it was best to just sell this home and leave the area. When I listed the home the agents in the area would not show the home. I came home one day to see an agent's car showing a home down the street from me. This home was $100,000. more than mine, less square footage and in bad condition. I asked my agent why they would show that home rather than my home--she gave some sort of stupid reply with a smile on her face--I later found out that she was in on the conspiracy.

I'm about to take over someone lease for four bedrooms apartment. I already move some of my stuff in the apartment (by law, they're require to keep my things for at least 30 days before they can evict me). There's three tenants on the lease but none live at the apartment. One already paid for their lease until end of it. Other one is signing it over to me. Other tenant was paying until December. So there's a late fee and payment still to be owe.

So the landlord say I cannot sign lease until they get it sort out. I already speak to all tenants and one of their cosigner. They all are about to come up with a deal among themselve. So I know it'll be taken care of by end of this week.

I already told the landlord this. However she keep try to dodge all questions I asked unless I cornered her and force her to answer. When I did, she would give me answer that I want to hear but nothing good enough to be secure. She's basically vague enough to make it difficult for me to prove anything by

Signed lease in Oct. Now, February, I'm being told that I've been paying the wrong amount on rent.....when the office manager told me this. I told her: well, I was not given a copy of the lease when I signed it in front of her....she just laughed it off and said she'd let me know how much more I owe! Can I call her on it and break the lease, allowing me to move..or do I have other alternatives?

Approximately how much cash would I need to pay for the upfront fees, etc for buying a home in the 400k price range?

This will be my first home purchase. Some loans say they require at least 3% down payment (I guess some also offer 100% financing). How about closing costs? I also read somewhere that I need to have enough cash to cover the first two months mortgage.

The reason I ask is because I have a lump of money (say $10k) and I need to know whether I'll need this for "these" costs or if I can use that to pay off my bills/car note.

Thanks

Recently I have been trying to purchase a home. One day a man by the name of John Stallings called me at work and told me that he could help me to get financing. I don't have any credit and my score is 619. So it is fairly hard for me to get financed. Once I received a pre-approval letter. I was excited I called my realtor and put a contract in for a home. I took my two kids to see it and they picked out their rooms. Now he is asking me for a due diligence fee of $500.00. I am a single mother and I can't gamble with that amount of money. It may be a reputable company but I just want to know if anyone has dealt with this company before I send the money.

I moved into a commercial location a year ago. I went to see if we had natural gas lines but found none and did not even see a meter for my suite. I decided not to worry about getting it because I did not really need it. My heater stopped working last month. I used it last year and for three months this year. The ac man said it was because the gas was turned off. I informed him that I did not know we had gas and that if I did, someone had to pay my bill for a year. He went a checked for a meter and came back to say I did not have one even though I told him I never had gas. He said the only wrong with the heater was no gas. I don't think that was the problem, but I am not worried about having no heater. I can use space heaters because I live in Florida. We don't get very cold. Can my landlord make me have a meter and lines installed though even if I choose not to get gas or is it his responsibility to have a meter for my suite even if I don't want heat?

I know in PA they have those programs that build houses. They do everything for you. They advertise that they even pay your rent while your house is being built. I dont know how true that it, but is there anything like that in NY.

It seems a little overwhelming to have a house built and I would love if the was a program where I could just make 1 phone call. Maybe a community?? Im looking in Orange county. I live in NJ now and we dont want to commute more than 1 hour away.
