www.craigslist.com is probably your best bet. It is free for most areas and I get good coverage when I advertise my listed properties.

Try craigslist.org, just make sure you select the correct city/area from the right hand side of the screen first.
Also, you could register (free) on http://www.whyabe.com register as a supplier, then click the sell button to upload the photo/info of your house (also a free site)

On Craigslist, you can put up to 4 pictures. Check for free ad sites in your local area too.
