Yes, you can. It's called an "Open Listing" which means a seller lists with 2 or more Brokers at the same time but still reserves the right to sell it himself without paying a commission. Commission will be paid only to the Broker who sells the property.
Most Realtors do not offer this option though. I am sure we all know why. It's risky for the agent and the agents Broker.
To James (poster above) - Have you ever purchased a home? Guess who you entered the contract with? A BROKER. Not your agent. The agent works for the Broker. The contract isn't legal without a Broker. I agent cannot practice RE without being licensed under a Broker. I think you may be speaking of a Broker/Lender which is very different from a Broker/Realtor.

You can use more than one broker if you do not give them the exclusive right to sell. I don't know of any broker who will allow this. They would rather you list with another broker, and then sell it to their buyer. There is no guarantee that they will be paid unless you list with just one broker.

A broker does not sell homes, they do the loans for the home..
A Real Estate agent will sell your house....
The will want you to sign up just to use them, and they will contact all of the other agents to get the word out.....
good luck

You can if they agree to a non-exclusive arrangement. Most MLS's (Mulitple List Services) won't allow a property on unless an agent has an exclusive listing and this will effect how many people see your home.

If they didn't know about it but chances are they will. And they wouldn't like it.
