Ok I haven't had steady work in more than 2 years because of mental illness that I'm trying to resolve. I have worked here and there for a couple of months at a time because it's hard for me to keep a job but I'm in counseling and I'm determined to find work to save money for a car and turn my life around. My credit score is like 400 so it's really bad and I owe more than $5,000. My question is...how long would I have to be at a job to qualify and how much would I need to put up for a down payment? Would I qualify for a car if I worked 6 straight months and I saved $2,500 for a down payment? It doesn't have to be a brand new car. I would be happy with car that's 5 years old and like $7,000. Do you think I can qualify?

Simplest way would be to use the paid Yahoo Services as long as you're using the free product you don't have much choice....Someone made this comment. We are paying for Yahoo through AT&T and it costs money. So then how do I get rid of advertisements when paying for it? Thanks

I am in AZ and I am trying to pay a collection agency $20.00 per month because that is what I can afford and they are telling me they can not work with me on that amount even though they took the original $20.00 I sent them. Are they allowed to do that? They are threatening me with legal action.

I have terrible credit....my FICO sore is under 500. My fiance' has great credit, but won't qualify for the full amount on her own, and we want to but a house. i obviously will not get financed, so is it possible, even with my terrible credit, to get financed for my half of the mortgage with a great co-signer (my father), or am i just grasping at straws? by the way, the house we want to buy is owned out-right by her father and HER(he paid cash for it), so does that present any other options, where my name can be on the mortgage, not just the deed?

My wife left me with the house and the mortgage, and all the bills. I can't afford it, even if I stick with the necessities and ramen noodles. I want to get out of the house. My wife (whom I'm divorcing) doesn't want the house. Should I take a chance and let it foreclose, or is there anything I can do where my credit doesn't get hurt all that bad? (I realize it's going to take a beating)

I need to open an account for direct deposit and an ATM card but don't need checks. I got into some trouble with my checking account a couple of years ago when I was in the hospital and off work for 2 months and now I can't seem to get an account.

So did my application even go through? It did the whole 60 seconds processing, then popped up and said Session Expired. I tried it twice, if I was pending wouldnt it tell me that instead of session expired? I am not going to try anymore cause I dont want it to negatively affect my credit.

I need a $2,000 loan so I talked to my friend who lives a few states away about co-signing.. she said she would do it via text message, so she gave me her info, informs he she has good credit, but is 20 years old.. my credit is horrible.. now, we are good friends, but I am worried if I get approved, if she will be like "I never gave him permission to do that" Which she did through a text message.. but is it still safe?

This sounds really really really silly.
But I am 16 only and I never paid for anything online before.
I have a normal account with a bank. Lloyds TSB, there is a logo on it which says VISA and underneath VISA it says DEBIT.

there is a chip on the left hand side
and underneath that going across the middle in big silver letters is a 12 digit number.

under that are the valid from and expire date.
then my name
then a 6 digit number , in the format of XX-XX-XX
and beside that an 8 digit number.

which number is which?
I need the card number and the security code :S/
thanks

I have a citi credit card in Canada I was wondering if paying off my balance before they send out my statement, or paying off my balance after they send out my statement but during the grace period has any difference in its effect on my credit score in Canada.

Also, I would like to know the answer to the same question but changed to if I had a credit card in the United States.
