So did my application even go through? It did the whole 60 seconds processing, then popped up and said Session Expired. I tried it twice, if I was pending wouldnt it tell me that instead of session expired? I am not going to try anymore cause I dont want it to negatively affect my credit.

if session expired, it did not go through--timed out. You will not damage your credit with an incomplete application, so feel free to try again, or contact the bank issuer directly and fill out form at a branch. Keep a COPY of anything you submit for your records.

Either one is just as good as the other. I have found very, very few places that will only take one or the other and they are usually little mom and pop type places. I have a Visa credit card and check card and two Mastercard credit cards. Used all of them tons of times. And don't listen to to those morons telling you not to get one at all. If you use it right then you will have no trouble. I use the cards for everything. I buy my gas and pay my bills, buy groceries and anything else I can. I pay the card off when the bill comes. Since I pay the balance in full I do not pay them a dime and I have rewards cards so they actually pay me to use them. If you are going to get one or the other then be smart about it and do not carry a balance. Never pay the minimum. Add: And if you pay in full every month the the interest rate does not matter since you will not have a balance to owe interest on. Make sure you get one with no fees (ie Annual Fee).

It probably didn't go through.
You might call them in a day or two and ask them about it just to be sure.
If it had processed, and it had gone through twice, you might explain the problem you had with their system and request that they combine both inquiries and only report them as a single inquiry.

Karma or divine intervention. Something is trying to tell you that credit cards are evil!! Run away and never look back.

Wait 48 hours and then check your application status online or call them.

There is no way for any of us to know this .. you need to call the creditor during their business hours.

It didn't go through or it would have told you if you were approved or not. Hopefully.
