I sold a item on ebay, the buyer sent the $ to my paypal acct and they said i have to verify that I was actually who I was. So I gave them what they asked for, my bank acct, and credit card info. They said it was still limited, because it was related to a other acct that had a negative balance. I dont have any other paypal acct so I have no idea what theyre taking about. Can someone please help me?!

Every time I apply for a credit card I get turned down. Not because I have bad credit history and not because I don't have the money to pay my bills .... BUT ... because I don't have any credit history.

What is the best way to start building credit for a 21 year old?

Thanks!

I'm 16 and have a checking, Paypal, and Ebay account. I'm wanting to make some fast extra cash by drop-shipping Ipods, and a visa/master card would make things ALOT easier. My bank offers Visa check cards but only to 18+ and says I would need a parent to cosign. I'm opting towards the Paypal debit card which will be linked to my account but I must also be 18, or have some kind of previous credit/debit card. What would happen if I just lied about my age? Thanks for the advice.

My mother bought a Hyundai Elantra two years ago and had horrible credit so she had a high interest rate, she is curious too see if she could now get a lower interest rate if she refinances, I'm not sure what company/bank is the best for giving low interest rates though or if she should just try too go through Hyundai Financial (which she already is doing)

What is the difference between a personal loan and a debt consolidation loan? When applying for a loan are you better off disclosing that you will be using it for debt consolidation? or not? Do they base your loan worthiness on your reason for the loan or your credit score? I want a fixed apr loan to consolidate all my credit payments any ideas where I can find a reasonable one?

It's been a long time since I checked my credit but It's probably under 500 now. Now that I am able to work I'm looking for a job and I want to get a new car. What would it take for me to be able to finance a car. It doesn't have to be new but maybe like a $6,000 to $10,000 car. Like how long would I have to be at a job, how much at least approximately would I expect to put up for a down payment and about what percent my interest rate would be? Thanks

The judge at the hearing said since I was giving up all the rights to the house, I would not be liable for anything. It is stated in the divorce judgement as well. How would I go about removing it from my credit report so that it wont affect me.

I was recently in NYC on vacation and made a purchase with my Discover card, which caused their fraud department to panic and shut down my card until I could call and verify the charges. They called my home phone and left a message. Unfortuntately, I made the mistake of leaving all of my other cards in my hotel room, and had to abandon my plans for the day to go back to my hotel and call for their "permission" to use my card again.

They've done this on several occassions, and it's getting to the point where I can't depend on the card to remain active when I'm making larger purchases. I spend about 2k per month on the card, and always pay the card in full each month. This purchase was for about $4k, and my credit limit is about $25k.

I've asked them to stop this tactic, but they''ve basically told me it's their money, and they can do what they want. Besides using a new card for all of my purchases, is there anything I can do? Are there any "trustworthy" cards out there?

I'm about to turn 21 years old and I have no credit.I don't want to get an insured credit card, so that's out of the question.

My question is, can my mother cosign a credit card for me? Let me let you know, that she has very bad credit, she declared bankruptcy after she failed to pay for her student loans.

So can she still cosign a credit card for me? Will her bad credit affect mine in any way, shape or form? That's my main concern. Thanks in advance for your answers.
