I've just returned from seven years living abroad. I'm back in Australia and have been offered a job with very comfortable salary package. I need a car too, and since I am in the 3 month probationary period, the lenders are quick to say "no".

I've been working full time in the IT industry for ages and have a 100% clear credit record, both home and abroad.

Is there any ways to get a loan without having to resort to high interest rate, loan shark type lenders?

I owe money on my credit card and they didn't contact me today. They said I should pay the entire bill by tomorrow but I don't have the money. If I don't pay it, what would you advise me to do?
What can happen? This is the first time they have contacted me.

How hard is it to track down someone that stole a debit card? Can they just sweep your account? How do they get away with this? How long does it take to have the money put back in ones account? This was a brand new account. No one knows the pin number. It is in my head and I never wrote it down. If they are caught will they serve time? This was over 5,000.00 dollars.

I have found some items on E-Bay that interest me. I am wondering if I can just use a credit card, and how it works. Because I have heard of some problems with Pay Pal so my preference would be not to use it. Is it Murphy's Law, "If it can go wrong, it will go wrong, so I wanted to be careful.

Would be very grateful for advice on this matter.

I purchased a manufactured home about 2 years ago and I am making my mortgage and lot rental payments. I have a 15 year mortgage.I have a lot of credit card debt ( I pay about $900 a month in minimum payments). I would like to consolidate this into one payment so I feel like even if I am living pay check to pay check I am doing ok and pay them off and close the account. only want one card with a low credit limit. Plus the interest rates are high. I have good credit (approximate score 685-710 at last check) never made a late payment, or missed a payment no bankruptcy etc. So my question is should I be able to get a consolidation loan without a co-signor and is this the way to go. I would like to also purchase a new car (lease is up and need to get a new one) should I roll this all into together or do seperate loans and will that even be possible. Any guidance would be helpful thanks.

And the best part is, i dont owe them a dime.
They arent trying to collect money from me. They are trying to collect money from a deadbeat relative of mine. Somehow they got my name and number and keep calling me over some student loans (i think) that a cousin of mine took out years ago. (close to 15 years ago) This girl is a very irresponsible person and has said many times she has absolutely no intentions of paying anything back. Its just how her and her husband live. Its wrong-but they only pay the rent and utilities, anything else they can get by with not paying they dont. They dont give a damn about credit history or anything (i am nothing like that btw). Anyways these places keep calling me trying to get in touch with her. I have told them point blank to stop calling, that i have little or no contact with my cousin yet they still do, they call like every other day demanding her phone number. Ive given it to them, yet they still call me. What can i do?

I would like to know how I could offer a bank financing options for them to secure my services. For example when you go to a car dealership and they shop for financing for you. Another example is a credit card like the ones some stores offer their customers. Where can I start with this? I believe it will allow me to grow my business. I do not want to finance my services in house. I would like funds to be guaranteed to me by a bank.

Things have gotten kinda tight for me thanks to my credit score not being that great. I can't get any loans from my bank. I need to know if there are any places that help people like me out. I need to borrow about $500, so its not a lot, but just enough to get rent and bills payed. I don't care about rates or anything, so long as I get the money. Any places or general shoppes that anyone can think of?

Ok, I got divorced and have not so great credit. Where can I shop online that will give me a credit account through their company..? I need ones that will take crappy credit. I'm not looking to get huge amounts, just places that will give me some to start with , so I can pay it back and rebuild some of my credit. Any help will be appreciated..especially ones in which I DO NOT have to have a credit card for....they are all paid off and cut up..I no longer have any.

A collection agency has provided me with an ID Theft Affidavit which has an option that asks if I'm willing to assist in the prosecution of the person committed the fraud. I have no idea who it could have been but it took place in MD and I live in CA. If there is a prosecution, I don't want to be hassled with it. I called the collection agency and they say they will not clear the debt if I do not assist. Can they do that? I don't know the laws related to this stuff. I've been battling this collection agency for the better part of 2 years and it seems they are able to dictate the process without having to be constrained by regulations or good judgement. Can someone please help!?

I applied for a credit card a while back, and I was declined. This was rather surprising to me, because I've got good credit. Anyway, I got an email from the cc company today stating the reason for my rejection:
" The amount of your purchase required a credit bureau report. We were unable to retrieve a report from a consumer reporting agency."

Now, what? I retrieved my credit score just the other day and it was in the low 700s--so I know that I've *got* a credit score. I applied and got approved for a different credit card just a few weeks before I applied for this one, however--could that have been what went wrong? In any case, should I be worried that they couldn't retrieve my credit report? That just seems awfully strange, and I'm not sure if I need to talk to someone at a credit bureau, or something. . .any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
