I have a credit card under solely my name. My husband has agreed to take responsibility for it (in the beginning stages of divorce). I'm just wondering how to transfer the debt out of my name and into his.

You cannot do it without the consent of the creditor. As part of the divorce, he can agree or be ordered to pay the credit card debt, but the creditor can still pursue you if he fails to pay or files bankruptcy. Better if he can borrow the money or use his own credit card to pay your card's balance, then you cancel the card.

this assumes the credit card company will allow the debt to be transferred, as he will have to quilify for the debt, much like taking over a lease, if not you're stuck with the debt

Have him do a balance transfer to his CC, pay it off with his own loan, or make sure you get a contract in writing that he has to make payments.
