my mom wrote a check and made it out to my husband....how do i cash the check if i'm not on any of his accounts? can he endorse it over to me maybe? how does that work?? thanks!

Don't ya just hate that?.....He signs his name and then writes pay to the order of ...(and then your name) You then sign your name and your account. Works every time for me. Hope it works for you to.

He can write on the back of the check, in the area for endorsement, "Pay to the order of" (your name) and sign it.

he can endorse it over to you but i hope you have a bank account in your name because check cashing places do not cash 3rd party checks.
