If the apartment lease was signed sealed and done using your credit card as a "collateral" should you default on payments, then yes: expect bad marks on your credit score.
Any loan or business contract involving your personal information and/or credit card information CAN levy bad credit score marks against you.
It's best to periodically check your credit score, which can today be done free (certain conditions exist, however).

That depends...if you got evicted for non payment and they decide to take you to court to collect the money then yes they can get a "judgement" against you that will show up on your credit report and make your credit horrible!

The eviction itself isn't reported on the credit bureau, rather it's your poor payment history. It also depends upon where your landlord reports. Some report to credit bureaus; some do not. Any judgement rendered against you that is unpaid will count adversely against your credit.

If the new location that you want to live wants to run a report on your credit, it will so up, but it will also show that it was settled. As long as there aren't any outstanding debts or late payments your good to go. So it shouldn't cause you from getting another place.

only if they know your social security #, which they probably do because everyone seems to run a credit check before renting to someone. then in that case, yes an eviction will go on your credit report.
