I have a coworker who is constantly pushing his workload to my to-do list. He has been with the company for about a year or so and is somewhat of a kiss-a.s.s with the supervisor.

The f.u.c.k.ed part about the whole thing is that my supervisor is never around to monitor who is doing what and at what speed. I can be working my a.s.s off and the team will get credit.

This guy would wait for me to do a project and right about when I am to finish, he would jump in and do one or two things so that he can say he have part in the project. I can't refuse his help because he would tell the supervisor that I am not a team player and that he was just trying to help.

He would ask me to do some of his work, and if I say "no" he would then tell the supervisor that I am not a team player. He always does his best to take credit and not do anything.

Please help. I am about to quite this job just because of him. Help. How do I deal with this?

I'm 15, and I live in an area surrounded by many employment opportunities. I had my older brother in university help me create a resume. I'm definitely qualified for all the jobs I applied for; (15 applications were made.) in fact, it could be said that I'm over qualified. I'm more mentally mature than any other person my age, and I've been active in extra-curricular activities. I've also been on the honor roll my entire high school career, yet I still have trouble. I would apply to places beyond walking distance, but i want to maximize the amount of money i earn so I can start saving for college and schooling for myself. Having my dad drive me would waste money and gas is expensive. Taking the bus is time-consuming, I would not always be punctual, and the fees take away from the amount of money i can put towards my education. My family's financial situation is terrible, and I feel obligated to do my part. Right now, I'm not upset but I wish there was some sort of solution.

A lot of drama at my work place has happened over the last week. Saturday a few people went to the head boss to discuss the rumors and drama. Tomorrow afternoon there will be a meeting to discuss the drama and possibly some firing. I honestly have not said anything about anyone, but there has been some rumors going on about me, as well as a few other girls. I will say that I was one of the girls who went to HR department. These rumors can cause relationship problems, as well as personal problems. I know I'm not in highschool anymore, and I should just ignore them, but these rumors are too serious to ignore. Tomorrow is the big day. Everyone knows the head lady who has started these rumors. Pretty much what she does is take something innocent that I say, and turn it into something huge and misleading. Well, I'm nervous but I'm up to it. So my question is, "How can I handle the meeting?" Should I bring notes? Has anyone gone through this before? Any help would be appreciated.

I'll be looking to get a job a building maintenance and it will eventually require HVAC certification. I will not be doing HVAC work continually but from time to time will need to work on the systems(residential and commercial tenant units). Will it be possible to study for the test and then take it? What levels of certification are there and what is most likely required for apt. building maint? Is classes required? What is the test like and what can I expect? Is there something online or avail. at the library that would help me get certified?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am thinking of moving to Orlando to pursue a career in Real Estate. I know no one. I would probably work 2-3 nights a week as a bartender but I was wondering if people thought that a NEW real estate agent in a completly NEW city could make it. I know sales is a lot about who you know. Any other fields that I might should consider? THANKS!

I'm 30 yrs old and I just finished a liberal arts undergrad degree; because of that, I'm having trouble breaking into the corporate/business world. I feel as if I need an MBA to give myself some credibility. I do realize that most pursue their MBA after working for a few years in the corporate world but I can't get any experience if I can't get my foot in the door. Please give me some helpful advice.

So i've been with my current employer for a little over a year now and to be blunt.... i hate it!! The thought of going into work every day distresses me and even after i leave in the evening i'm depressed cause i now i'm back there tomorrow morning! Dont get me wrong, i'm not complaining.... its a good job and a good income but it's not for me. Normally i would leave in a hear beat but me and my boyfriend are in the middle of looking at moving home and i dont want to burden him with this or make him think he has to financially support me until i sort my head out! What would you do? Stay with your current employer until something new shows up or just leave and take it from there?
Thanks.

I heard from this friend of mine that families usually want girls to have babysit their kids. I personally think its bull **** because it doesn't matter the gender of the person, it matters on how good the person is at babysitting and if they have experience or not. So what do u personally think?
