I am considering relocation (again) because the city I currently work in is absolutely overrun with Indians (not native americans) and I am so sick of putting up with them. They don't wear deodorant, eat discusting food, travel in packs, speak what can only be described as gibberish, and send most of the money they make back to India. Enough is enough and I am ready to move on.

This is not something that happened to me, I witnessed this happening last night and I am wondering who is right and who is wrong.

I live in a condo and yesterday, I over heard one of the janitorial workers asking his manager if he can go to the bank (around 2 pm in the afternoon) because it closes at 4 and he wanted to go before it closes. His manager started yelling at him and said no, your shift ends at 6 pm, you can't leave whenever you want. Your life revolves around work hours, not your own personal hours. Then the worker said something like, but this is something personal I need to do, and I need time to do it, and they broke out into an argument.

Who was right and who was wrong?

I work at a movie theater(consession stand). A man had came to the counter I was working and asked for a large popcorn with extra extra butter. when a customer says this then after every scoop of popcorn I squirt a couple things of butter. I'm guessing the customer liked the way I did this becuase He jokingly responded with "I would love to marry you". and I jokingly replied with "Are you rich"? my coworker was right there she heard everything(nosey *****!) and told my boss. I was verbally lectured that to ask someone if they are rich is disrespectfull. You know what I think is disrespectfull. People who stick thier nose where it doesnt belong in other peoples business.

I'm been trying to find a job for months now and I'm having problems, which is really frustrating since I'm definetly employable, with lots of good experience and only great references. I'm thinking about trying a staffing agency. Has anyone had any experiences with these? Just wanting to know if it was a good experience, or if there is anything I should know about them that are bad.

I am a middle manager. My staff complain that I don't "Back them up". I hardly ever hear complaints about them, but when I do I talk to them about it and try to make things better. Then they say I don't back them up. What should I be doing different? What if the complaints are justified? Should I defend them when they are wrong, have a bad attitude or screw up? I'd like feedback from employees and managers. What am I doing wrong?

I've been a member of Treasure Trooper for a few months now and have made over $500. All you have to do is complete offers (for free), do surveys, or complete cash-back shopping, so it's a pretty simple process and there's a lot of money to be made with it. If interested, you can check it out for yourself at www.treasuretrooper.com/229127. Good luck!

I'm in a bind because I had a call about a job I applied for. When They ask me what I was expecting, I just told them somewhere near my old salary. Let's just say $30k a year for example purposes. I applied to a lot of jobs, so I didn't remember what they listed. When I checked it was $10k-$20k more. So I told them around $30k, when the job actually was posted for $40-50K a year.

They e-mailed me an application with an "Expected Monthly Salary". Should I base that on a range $30-$40k, or on a range $40-50k.....or should I just put something like "open", "competitive", "negotiable"?

Anyone have experience with this? I would really appreciate it since I would love to get the highest amount they listed :-D.
