Is there a certain certification and/or degree one needs to get to go into a health-related clerical position such as Medical Billing?

Yes!!! You must take some classes for medical coding and billing so that you understand the terminology required for the position. Follow the link below and you can find schools in your area. Also, you can do it online you just type in the search for Medical billind and coding school and away you go. Have fun. The medical field is the best career choice. Take it from me!!!

Yes, there is. First don't buy into these deals on the Internet. I have looked at one a friend bought and it was worthless. I know of only one school and it is in Nashville, TN. I am sure there are many others, but not where they are located. It is a difficult course and you must be able to memorize many numbers. Good luck.

Go to a community college or take an on-line class to get a certificate. It's pretty easy.
