I would like to have children one day. I wonder if this is an unrealistic goal... mother and attorney... or could I do both and be successful at both?

I just recently got offered a job at the store I work at to become a Pharmacy Technician. Its a step up from what I am right now, so of course I took it.

But what I want to know is, what sort of things will I be doing as a tech?

I am in a training class for a new job. I am 24 and have been working in the same field for over 6 years so nothing we are learning is new to me. There is this snobby little 18 year old girl whose only experience stems from volunteering at a nursing home a few times in high school and painting some fingernails but she thinks she knows it all. She apparently tries to compete with me and everyone else has even noticed and she gets really nasty when I know the answers or when I receive perfect scores on tests or when I help out other coworkers by teaching them how to take blood pressures or other skills needed for the job. I know what I am doing, so people ask me for help alot. Why are young girls so mouthy and just plain nasty? She thinks she is better than everyone else and smarter but she has been making herself look like a fool. Why are girls like this??? Is it self esteem? She tends to ACT just like who ever she's talking to. Like a little chameleon. I think she has esteem issues.

I was 18 at the time and the girl was 14. They charged me with child molestation although the girl was sexually mature and could have passed for 15. Before this thing happened, I was getting my life together and was accepted into the nursing program. But due to the circumstances, I declined the acceptance into the nursing program. I know that nursing is my passion and want to know if I'll ever be able to return to this field.
I know that sex crimes are quite political at the moment. I do have quite a bit of knowledge of whether or not I could get a nursing degree and get a job, but I don't have anything solid. My feeling is that I can't do it at this time, yet, but I want to remain hopeful.

If two people need care for serious illness and the Dr's are willing to complete two seperate family medical leave forms, one for each family member does family medical leave allow 12 weeks per person, or would it still be 12 weeks of total unpaid leave? Thanks.

I really don't want to do either - but I'm losing my job and I don't have many options as a transgendered woman. A guy I know said that he could get me well paying jobs doing either. I guess I've led a pretty sheltered life but escorts can be just escorts, right, w/o sex being involved? And the same w/message places?

i have recently been promoted to a corporal in the air cadets... and i havent really been shouting at people to keep quiet etc... every one has made a big deal out of it that it makes me nervous and shy when i do shout..any tips on what to do to keep everyone in order and build confidence etc

Why? Because you dont like your boss? You think you hit a dead end and need a position with better opportunities in the future? I'm interested in learning your reasons.

I applied for tanf and got it, but I also worked part time, I thought it was ok since I did not make much, but now they say I have an overpayment. I thought I told them I worked part time, but they said i did not.

I worked as a conversational english intructor in south korea for the last year. Before that I worked as an educational assistant with special needs students in the school system for two years. I worked in a group home back in 2004 - 2005. I have a college diploma and social science degree. I want to work with behavioral adolescents again and not with special needs. The only employment I have found has been with special needs people in group homes. I want to work in foster care or group homes with behavioral adolescents though. I have applied alot but have had no responses so far.

I recently overheard a conversation that my boss I believe was having about me on the phone. I am not sure if he knew where I was or not. Talked about salary, resume on the internet. Lack of a girlfriend in fairly suburan area. All was aware of dark horse of myself arriving late to class after having a one night stand right before a test. Each traine costs 100k for a year in expense to be trained. Major metroplitian area filled with young singles is 30 mintues away. I applied for a transfer with the job 6 months into it. I am in training program the company has office in the major city but I am in their suburan office. Since I have applied for the transfer things have steadily gone down hill. I have been continutally micromanaged and belideled. Cited negatively in performance reviews, those issues have since been corrected though. I recentley took two days of vacation. An heard the boss said he things I will quit since i wont be transfered. Will they fire me first or get me to quit?

My husband has a phone interview with a church this Thursday for a Youth Pastor position. He will be speaking with the head Pastor and a few of the members of the church council. I just found out that I was passed up for a promotion that I worked really hard to try to get. I seriously tried my hardest and my manager made me believe I was going to get it, then today I find out that this other girl is getting it, even though she knows nothing about the job (she is really good friends with the manager). I really needed this promotion. I'm a single mother who's struggling to get by and this promotion would've turned my life around. Now i'm hurting really bad and feel like i've failed my daughter, because I was doing this for her. How can I cope with the hurt i'm feeling right now?

I am in a club called Leaders of Tomorrow and we r doing a mock City Council Meeting where we have 2 play the parts of Different counil members and citizens and I am "council member at large"..... what does it mean to be at large???
