so my parents really want me to go to community but I really don't want to since my best friend and I both got into the university we wanted to go to. but my parents said they'd pay for all of my school if I went to community and if I went to university I would have to pay the difference... sucks for me... but what should I do?
what i want or what they want..

Well, it seems as if drama is my middle name.
I'm having yet another problem at work.

I recently demoted myself, because I made a couple of mistakes at my previous position, and didn't want to risk making anymore, and being fired. The stress of thinking that I was on my "last leg" was too much to handle, so I demoted myself... The job itself was stressful, repetitive, and I guess it just wasn't a right fit for me. It was going to be awhile before I'd be promoted, and didn't want to be fired before then. The lower position is fine with me, plus, it's the same pay, so who cares, right?

I made the mistake of telling one of my co-workers that I chose to take the lower position on my own, because I was stressed, and had a couple of problems.

I did not explain my question as clearly as i should have. let me start over. Had been working for a public company since january 2006. company adopted a 12 point tardy system in June and whatever points were accumulated beforehand were transferred over and were to expire on january 2007. I had fell ill in the employee parking lot and passed out in my vehicle on 12/15/2007. Other employees who worked with me said that they tried to open the door and banged on the windows, but i was unresponsive. said employee went to my manager and told her and she got her manager to come down to the lot to see what was wrong. eventually i had came around and managed to exit my car. i started to cough up a little, but i was ok. my manager and her manager walked me into the building. on 12/23/2006, i was discharged because i went over the attendance point limit and i did not have any medical leave accrued. file for unemployment but was denied benefits. my health is getting worse now. what do i do?

The dress code at the company is business casual. They do not wear neck-ties at the office. I do not want to under dress. I will wear a black suit with black shoes and belt with either a blue or white shirt and I have no idea what to do about the cuff-links I do not want to over do it.

Thank you

OK, it's a long history so let's be short. I had a job interview and they picked me up in the airport and took me to my hotel. Next day I had my interview and had a "stroll" for all the offices and instalations of the company. Next day they were supposed to give me a ride to the airport but in the night after the interview they called me telling me that they canceled the ride they originally offered me to the airport. What happened and what does it mean?

Money has come up a lot lately, for numerous reasons, but the most recent cause is my department trying to find an admin. All this talk of qualifications, pay scale, etc…and suddenly I realized how little I make. Not only that, I went online and found a salary finder based on job title and area and let me tell you, I am making $10K-20K less than I should be and probably more considering what I’ve been working on for the last year. But what can I do? My company was just bought and now “budgeting” is a bigger concern than ever before. I don’t want to leave, but I am expected to do more and more all of the time. My review isn’t until August. I do get a bonus every quarter and I always get the max (15% of three months of my income). I don’t place my confidence in my paycheck, but it is a little surprising that some of the people I manage make more than I do. I need some sound corporate advice.
