The dress code at the company is business casual. They do not wear neck-ties at the office. I do not want to under dress. I will wear a black suit with black shoes and belt with either a blue or white shirt and I have no idea what to do about the cuff-links I do not want to over do it.

Thank you

i would think that's it's better to overdress, then underdress. i would wear them just so that the company knows you're serious about the job and that you'll be willing to do just about anything for their company. (even look a little overdressed). best of luck on your interview.

Generally, I agree with the above posts in that it's much better to be overdressed than under; but it is possible to overdress to the point of silliness. I've seen it happen that someone wears a business suit to an interview for a seasonal blue collar position. I don't know how the interview went, but I do know the suit, which looked quite good on him, got nothing but laughs.

The best rule is to dress a clear level above what the position would call for. If you're expected to wear a tie every day, wear a suit to the interview. Business casual? Wear a tie and maybe a sport coat. Jeans? Wear slacks and a nice shirt; maybe even a tie.

The cuff links are a definite plus.

YOUR BEAST ANSWER... WEAR THEM LINKS

ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO LOOK YOUR BEST. YOUR APPEARANCE IS THE FIRST THING PEOPLE SEE WHEN THEY LOOK AT YOU. IF YOU DRESS NICE, YOU ALSO LOOK ALOT MORE INTELLIGENT. THINK OF ALL THE OTHERS WHO ARENT WEARING TIES..... NOW THINK HOW YOU WOULD STAND OUT IF YOU HAD CUFF LINKS. A TIE IN YOUR CASE WOULD BE OVER DRESSING, BUT CUFF LINKS MY GOOD MAN, THAT WOULD BE SETTING THE STANDARD!
