Several times a week I can smell that acrid, yet cloyingly sweet, smell of marijuana being blown into my apartment from the old gas heating system that apparently leaks air between my apartment and my neighbor's. I am a drug-free individual in the midst of a job hunt, for whom any job offer will likely require a drug test. Is there any possibility that the amount of residual pot smoke being blown through my air ducts might cause me to fail a drug test?

I am a temp worker, and this woman at work (I don't know if she liked me or what), but she followed me around while I worked. Even after her shift she would hang out talking to me (even though she knew I was married. I didn't start to feel uncomfortable until people started approaching saying she talks about me non stop when i'm not there. Instead of telling her that she makes me feel uncomfortable, I gave her a hard time, hoping she would take the hint to leave me alone. When she didn't stop, I didn't spell it out black and white and told her she needs mental help. She now is saying that I degraded her and harassed her by telling her she needs mental help and I lost my job because it (I never had the chance to explain my side). because she got angry, she now tells everyone that i'm a substandard worker now that I don't work there. Do I have any type of case of slander or any other claims?

Can you make more money as an independant broker,or start with a real estate company and work your way up ?
Is there a licensed state exam in Colorado? ..I know in New York State there is,but I am not sure about Colorado.
How much money can you make as an real estate agent in Colorado or anywhere for that matter.
Any brokers/agents out there want to share their worldly wisdom?

I have a full time job but will be applying for lots of new jobs soon, how do i go for my interview safetly without lettin my job down. Are there any specific rules? I obviously dont want to keep phoning in sick or they will get suspicious over different days.. please help.. thanks!

my departments is mostly african american, there are a hand full of white people (3) to be exact and myself (puerto rican) so its like 15 to 4. For some reason or another only the non african americans are stuck on nightshift, AND working weekends for the last 9 months (since Ive been here) I noticed the black women in my dept often critisize non blacks about hair, butts, accents its starting to really effect my work. I spoke to my supervisor (black) and tip toe'd around it but she is so verbally agressive I really cant say what I feel AND to make matter worst this dept has the highest turnover in the entire company and my co-workers (even some black) say the racism was the reason, but that its owed to them. Im Puerto RIcan my great great grand parents were Taino Indian we had no part of the slave trade why do I keep getting lumped into the "white" catagory. And How do I address this nonscence without getting fired?

My wife is very interested in language, the way it evolves, and the history/theory behind it. She started a university course in Speech Pathology and enjoyed the language related units but quit the course due to the medical side of it. Are there any careers/jobs out there for someone who studies language etc??

I have recieved a job offer from their client which is safeway stating that I am being considered for the post of Customer Care Representative and that they would be sending the service agreement in the next mail.I do not understand whether this is fake offer or real one.

The salary the have quoted is immense and very hard to digest.They have mentioned the name of Paul Hazemn as thier recruitment generalist for Safeway Inc and he has his name under the email.

Guys if you happen to recieve such mails,please be careful.Anyone recieves such mails please do share with us so that everyone can be aware of such things.
