I am currently considering applying for my SIA (Security Industry Authority) license, problem being this is around £190 and is about to go up in price.

I wondered if anyone knew the average hourly wage of a bouncer / door supervisor in the UK? I know it all depends on experience, and the company etc, this is why I have said average. In my case I have no experience as of yet, so any ideas?

How can you make your CV sound more interesting if you don't have many qualifications and have only had one job in 14 years? And what kind of hobbies do you put on it? Do you put your IQ on there if you have taken the proper Mensa test?

I'm trying to find a job as a service advisor with a dealership. My question is how do I hit the job market like a "bat out of hell" so I knock the other applicants on their a$$es?

I've compiled a list of 25 questions that I ask when I go just so I get to know a little more about the company, and seem very interested in their eyes. I give them the line of crap that every employer expects to hear such as "the customer is always right"(within means). I finish up from the interview and any impressions I get from the interviewer are amazingly good, but I still get the same "we'll get back to you". I am fed up and stressed to the point where I am losing sleep over this (Go to bed @ 10pm dont fall asleep til 3am).

I already know the common tips (smile, kiss a$$, dress nice, etc). I need some "new" advice that is something out of the ordinary. I'm exhausted and fed up with all of this, and am starting to lack confidence and motivation.

Please help...Thanks in advance! ;)

Im in the 8th grade, and i want to try figuring out what i want to do after highschool. I want to do something creative, nothing boring where all you do is the same thing everytime.

I like writing, and im really good at it, ive thought about being a journalist for a newspaper or magazine.
I also like making layouts (colorful) for the computer, like myspace layouts. Ive thought about being a graphic designer but in that you make advertisements and you have to be patient for it too.
I have also thought of being a cook, because its fun.

The thing is i want to make as much money as i can in the job that would intrest me the most. i dont want to be really old either when i can actually do anything because i go to college for a long time.

I like helping people too, if that helps.

I got a friend of mine hired on into and oil company that i work for. During his first month, they are trying to let hime go (put his employment on hold) because he had a previous felony conviction. They stated that he did not let them know of the felony b4 he was hired. He did because i took a detailed look at his application. Now that he has fowarded all of his previous emails to our HR services to let them know that he was trying to hide nothing and that it was stated on his app, what are the chances that the company will still let him go? If you have any advice for him then it is greatly appreciated. Especially from anyone that has any legal experience.

The electric window on my jeep is unable to go up and there is no car service shop open here on a Saturday afternoon. So I have an open driver's side window that is unable to close due to some kind of circuit problem. I am scared that someone would try to carjack my jeep or throw some kind of liquid substance if I drive and park it somewhere. Yet I have a very important job interview on Monday and I am desperate for work. I've got bills stacking up and I feel like James Evans on Good Times when he would try to rise up only to be put back down and have a promising job opportunity close. What should I do? Would HR pass on me? Should I cancel or postpone? Would this be a strike against me in the interview process?

Is it the company or the employees fault ? A LOT of companies I know end up losing all their money, because of bad marketing and bad management from the top, but employees resumes are the ones who suffer as a result.

Work as retail store manager in Portland Metro area. Been a manager for a year now and honestly one of the better ones in the area for our store. I have produced two assistants that now make more than me at the bigger stores in the area. I don't think this is fair at all, but how do I bring up this to my District manager and win?
