Hi, I was charged of a misdemeanor and later completed my probabtion period and now it is reduced to a dismissal. I just graduated from college and just got a job interview with a company that I really want to work for. They are conducting a background check. I was wondering if the "sterling testing" company be able to see my dismissal? would it show up? Please help!

They will see it, but they are only concerned about felonies.

They'll probably see it, so just be honest about it. A misdemeanor shouldn't be a big, and one that was reduced to a dismissal should not affect you. Tell them you did some stupid stuff in college, but you've grown up and moved past it.

The only way they will be able to see it if it isn't taken off your record. But it's nothing big so I wouldn't worry to much because all they want to know if you are who you are and what you have done. SO if it's been a while don't worry. AND good luck, hope you get the job
