Everything you have to do includding getting a good job revolves around finding the right people something I do not seem to be very good at. Even having a side income requires good pepole networking skills. Do you know how to network and is it something you can learn?

The question is that starting a few days ago, they started having me go to lunch earlier. Then this week, they had me just bag the groceries, but not help the customers out to their car,They had other co workers called"greeters",do that.plus, they hired more courtesy clerks, which is fine, but when it slows down,it makes it difficult for me,because I can''t do anything else except bag the groceries. It makes me feel like I don't belong at Ralphs anymore.Do you think I should tell the store director how I feel,if I do tell her,how should I tell her how I feel without sounding like I'm just complaining,or making waves?I'm almost to the point, that i would leave right away,if I had another job lined up It makes me feel uncomfortable at work right now.

I am doing a thesis on this subject. One of my hypotheses is that employers intentions to hire people with tattoos will vary as a function of the level of customer contact with their customers. I require a journal article that has tested discrimination according to high, medium and low customer contact. Does anybody know where I can access this?

Im currently employed in a trade, and like any trade you have your ups and downs, lately i've been in a down stage, so i've been looking for employment elsewhere, i know i have the characteristics of a good employee, and know that i'll get hired, but the place i've been working at is family owned, been approached by a company that i know i can settle down and make a carreer out of, work is more stable and secure and is salaried based, am having a difficult time making my mind, any suggestions would be great thanks.

I was hired at a fast food restaurant 4 days ago, and I worked on Sunday from 4:00pm to 11:00pm. I did not like this job so I quit today because I am 16 and I can only legally work until 10pm, also I was litterally getting yelled at on my first day. I was supposed to make 7 dollars an hour, so am I still entitled to the money I made on Sunday? Should I go in and get it? Thanks for your advice!

Or can you recommend other majors that work well with marketing? I'm interested in web development, but I'm not too fond out being stuck behind a desk all the time. Would this allow me to still be able to interact with clients/vendors/people etc?
