I am going to apply to various internships. Can you give me advice on how to write it? No need to mention grammar or spelling, thats a given.. but what format is best? When listing dates for job experience do I put the exact starting month to final month?
Do I list dean's list/president's list?

I was working with a recruiter and she told me the employer would not wait for a decision over the weekend. I feel I was pressured by the recruiter. After much thought, I really do not want the job. But the employer is really nice and I don't want to let them down. But I will be really bored in the job.......and they know that.

How to I reneg on a job offer that I accepted?

Do I respond to both employer and recruiter?

I am a professional, and often my clients and sometimes co workers comment on how young I look. I have been told that I look like Im in high school. I find this insulting. I feel like people dont take me seriously because they think Im young, even though I am not. I have 10 years experience in my field, and almost 5 years of college under my belt! How should I deal with people's comments about my appeared age?

My husband moved to the US in 2004 and is currently looking for a new job. He has been employed with the same company since he moved here. It isn't a very good paying job so of course he wants a higher paying job. He has a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. The problem is, he's not licensed in the US. The only experience he has outside of being a pharmacist is being a dish washer at the restaurant he works at. I mean, he can do other stuff, technically, and he's very good at whatever he does, but what kind of company is going to hire him with basically no experience (technically)? And how would he present himself to a large company, like P&G? He's got the education and the smarts to work for a company like this....but how would he give off an impression to get noticed?

So I'm the one being interviewed, and I believe that the questions that I make determine how my future employer or even University dean may judge their opinion about me. Don't you think so? Tell me what you would say or ask during an important interview to look either smart"er" or more suitable for the position than every other applicant.

This question is for those of you in your 20's who are working and now living alone after high school or college. I just got hired for my first full-time position at a company 15 minutes from my parent's home. My parents and I have no problem with me staying with them until I get a few paychecks to build up my now empty savings account. I don't want to overstay my welcome or take advantage of their kindness. How long do you think I should wait before moving into my first apartment?

my boyfriend doesn't know what he should do. He has logistics/warehouse operations/factory sort of experience for the last 12 years.. was thinking about getting more licenses like truck and front end loader and elevated work platforms tickets, and maybe seeing if he can get work in mining. we're in south australia.
i'm wondering what you think he should do, or if theres like any career counsellors or similar people here who could help him because i cant anymore!

I will be 23 in a few weeks. I have been with my current company almost 2 years and have recently applied for a position that requires 80% travel. I have no family or children for which to care. I do not own a residence or have any pets that require attention. I am enrolled in a masters program and take classes twice a week at night, however could probably transfer into my school's weekend program. I would love to travel around the country and experience the regional differences, as well as meet new people. Additionally, I have a network marketing company I work for and would like to get that business off the ground. An increased network would be very helpful. Based on this and your own experiences, can you please offer more pros and cons of taking a position which involves so much travel? Thanks!

It seems to me that almost everybody out there advertising home based work lies about the true nature of the business in order to scheme out people and take the money in exchange for nothing. There are some reputable companies, such as eBay offering real business opportunities, however, sales is not my stuff. I would prefer to provide office support from home, such as data entry, heavy typing, reports, etc. working as an independent contractor. I can identify a scam the moment I see one, so please, only serious offers will be considered.
