Or can you recommend other majors that work well with marketing? I'm interested in web development, but I'm not too fond out being stuck behind a desk all the time. Would this allow me to still be able to interact with clients/vendors/people etc?

That's a great combo. Marketing get's you out there. IS gives you the ability to "talk tech" with your would be clients. Some marketing positions are behind the desk positions, especially when you start out, but within a couple years you get more face to face time with possible customers.
Another good degree with Marketing would be Finance
