Hi,
Begin by asking what you' do if time and money were not objects. This will clear your head for figuring out what you really want to be doing.
Determine whether you want a job or a business?
What don't I like about my current career?
What do I like about it?
Do I not want a career at all?
Do I want to travel the world as a missionary?
Who knows?
Start with a clean slate and go from there. Remember, there are no boundaries in life apart from those we put on ourselves.
There are many helpful texts that can help you find out exactly what you want to do and why. These are often a good starting point as you stear your life in a new and more positive direction.
I hope this helps in some small way.
Warmly,
Slav

Perfect, you are so young and at the prime of your 'professional ' launch! My experience enabled me to realize that you should go for the job that provides the most joy, satisfaction and interest to you personally. If you are a Believer ask The Lord to show you and to open doors for you. Many folks are waking up to the fact that 'corporations' and businesses in this world are often abusive (I come from a generation where it was common to start work during or after high school, get into a good 'company' get benefits and vacation etc and work there til you retire) Now-a-day companies want to kick folks out when they are 30 or 40 because they are afraid to pay into 401k's etc. So, find a joyful thing to do and expect to earn enough money to live on.
Don't go around trying to buy a bunch of things like houses and cars and luxury items.....the value of the americn dollar is going to plummet, so stay out of debt :)
I hope that helps you.

You should do whatever makes you feel content and happy. Changing careers should not be hard as long as you are determined to pursue that career. It's probably not going to be easy but remember things will get hard before they will get easier. Also, know that there are no shortcuts to a place worth going. Good Luck!

Many people switch careers multiple times. It's good that you recognize that you want to do something else. Try reading, "What Color is Your Parachute" -- it's a great book with lots of advice that should help you.
