I am doing a thesis on this subject. One of my hypotheses is that employers intentions to hire people with tattoos will vary as a function of the level of customer contact with their customers. I require a journal article that has tested discrimination according to high, medium and low customer contact. Does anybody know where I can access this?

I haven't heard of the article, but maybe a note for your thesis. My last company (Large window/door manufacturer) I wouldn't hire service techs with visable tatoos unless they understood the tattoos needed to be covered up while in peoples homes.

It's too hard to try and say just cover offensive tatoos, so we just made sure there were no visable tatoos when they were in uniform.
