The problem is you are to sell the product and is not the matter of right or wrong? It is your job! Your job is promote and sell your products to them, nobody really know what they actually need till they are being told! To buy or not to buy, your customer will have his/her choices?

In an interview room, all candidates will left alone with a mass of bricks for hours. What do you think the interviewer is up to?

I think that it's not right, but the world is full of them.
If your question is oriented to ask me, if I would invent a product with this features; if it's as a part of my job, I will answer, yes I will do. What other thing can I do?

However, I continue thinking that it's not etic and right.

Bye.

If they insist they need it, maybe. Otherwise no. Banks are pretty regulated so this is probably some trick question to see how scrupulous you are.

You'll probably have questions that are related to problem solving, customer service and what to do if your drawer is off at the end of the day.

Try to offer them something that would better suit their needs but if they insist they still want the product then go ahead and sell it to them.

You shouldn't sell a product to someone if you know they don't need it. Your just taking their money at that point.
