Ive looked into LEAPYear (too expensive), Coast Guard (too long), Peace Corps (too not for me), and this time for god program which doesnt really seem like me either. Im looking for a program that would give me college credit or a salary of some kind, and preferably something far, far away from cincinnati Ohio (out of the country would be best)

The more I try, nothing pleases her. I manage her store in Minnesota, and she lives in South Dakota. She has 2 other stores. She brought in a new register with a computer. She didn't give me any training on it. All she did was set it up and told me what day I was going to start using it.I believe on hands on training.Well I didn't get it. The way I learned was to figure out things. Yea she would email me in how to do some things, but it isn't the same. She was paying me $10.00 hr. 40hr a week, and we got paid twice a month but starting this month she is going to pay me salary $675.00 for 80hrs. I am trying my very best. And nothing seems to please her.Like today for instance, I emailed her, that she owed hrs to another employee. She said i never emailed her and that I wasn't doing my job. That she was paying me to be a manager and to take care of her store. I did email her twice. She said she got only one, and i told her i checked my sent messages and it was there. I feel like i am harrased.

How old should you be to get your first job? responsibiltiy wise. I might get one this summer, or get an internship somewhere. I will most likely wait till next summer for a job, but I would like money in my pocket. Whatcha think?

I have already submitted my application & resume. I handed it in last Monday, and I have not received any call backs yet. I wanted to call to show them I am really interested in the position. What time of the day is appropriate to call and what should I say, in order to get an interview & for the manager to really be interested & want to hire me?

My biggest concern taking a commission only job is the uncertainty of income. I have been told the first month is the hardest as that's the training period but the statistics of this company are that 99% of the calls/emails are for wanting to purchase and they need staff because they are unable to efficiently deal with each customer. It's a growing business and was recommended thru a family friend which leads me to believe they wouldn't set me up. I have sales experience and it's not a retail situation, everything is done by phone and internet. The question is do I tough it out and quit after 6 months if there is nothing decent coming in? My partner is a registered nurse so I am not living alone.

I currently hold a managers position. I was asked by my supervisor to move to another property for one year and train as a regional supervisor. There were some big business changes and a year later the position was offered to two other employees (I find out by company wide email). My supervisor denies having any conversation with me regarding the position. I only had their word nothing in writing... and I am still unhappy in the same position.
