How old should you be to get your first job? responsibiltiy wise. I might get one this summer, or get an internship somewhere. I will most likely wait till next summer for a job, but I would like money in my pocket. Whatcha think?

I think that 16 is a good age. You are already partway thru high school, so you have handled a lot of responsibility. Also, 16 is most often the minimum age to begin work. Good luck, hope you get a job!

I think you should work only if you are getting good grades and don't have any trouble with any of your classes. I think 17 or 18 is a good age. But it will be hard to find anyone who will hire you so I'm guessing your in High School so try volunteering to gain some work experence. If they like you and your commited they might even hire you. You can try the library (some need tutoring volunteers too),humane society and animal shealter just to name a few. I used to volunteer at a local humane soceity where if they needed to hire someone they looked at the current volunteers for employment.

Good luck!
