at work we are not allowed to have cell phones. my boss assumes that every time i used the toilet its because of texting or talking over the phone; even though i don't use my phone at work. he followed me to the bathroom couple of times and made remarks about cell phone usage and how i'm in there too long. he once ask if i needed an ambulance while i has pooping. now, do i have a lagitimate reason to make a complaint to have him fired or even worse, law suit?

My husband works in sales for an industry that he needs to get out of. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a college degree and is finding it hard to even get interviews without one, even though he's held his jobs for long stretches of time and has always done well at them. You'd think years of work experience would offset the lack of a college degree, but I guess not. He's looked into going back to school, but it's expensive and will take 3 years!! Can anyone offer any advice on how you can best go about finding a new job when you don't have a college degree?

I usually work 50 to 60 hours a week for the last 12 years. last week I worked 35 hours. They are telling me they are taking time from my vacation pay. I dont get sick or personal time and i dont get an hourly wage. I live in Florida. Maybe they should pay me something for the 10 or 20 hours a week i work over 40 hours. thanks.

I'm a college student, and one that makes good grade. I can't find an internship yet because I've only in my third semester.

I need the cash and is considering applying to become a waiter.

Is waiter too "low" a job for college students though? Especially ones that always make the Dean's List?

Getting tired of hearing how kids fresh out of high school are making more $ than I am when I have two bachelors degrees and a master's degree. Pay should beat $40k/year to be worth my bother.

I have an interview tomorrow for a temp job in an office. While the job itself isn't that big, the company is, and will probably be observing everything I do in the interview room, down to what colour socks I'm wearing.

So, I need some advice on what to say in response to general 'competency based questions' such as "Give an example of when you've worked under pressure", and "Give an example of team work"

I understand generally what is expected from me, but has anyone got any good tips, key "buzz" words? Any help is greatly appreciated!

He picked up 15 phones, and gave everyone the option of getting a free phone with a free plan. He has 7 phones left, and hasn't offered me one. Also I have emailed him twice about it, and he has not replied. I dont know how to feel about this, or what to do. What do you think?

I'm a college student with no prior job experience. I just applied for my first job at Bestbuy, Blockbuster, and EbGames.

I feel those stores would suit me well since I'm into video games, movies, music, and other form of entertainment.

However, I feel I'm capable of doing something more demanding and challenging. But since I have no job experience, I have absolutely no idea where to begin.

Can you folks please give me some suggestions, tips, or anything?

I'm a mathematics major with a good knowledge of computer and its application.
