The night before iron your clothes and hang them where they won't get bumped and fall on the floor or collect dog hair. Print up 3 copies of your resume and put it in a portfolio, along with your references. Set your alarm at least 30 minutes early, leave your house at least 15 minutes early (never know with traffic). If you are more than ten minutes early to the interview, wait or go get coffee or something.

If you smoke, don't the day of, use a patch or gum instead - and febreeze your clothes.

Read up on the company, do an Internet search on them and see if you can find any compelling information about them. Make a list of questions (about 4 or 5 is good), put them in the portfolio with your resume and be sure to ask them in the interview.

On the way to the interview breath deeply and slowly, so you can calm your nerves. When you get to the interview, let the interviewer finish their questions before you jump in with your answers.

Think positive and don't get too excited, there is healthy excitement in which you state you want the job. And there is unhealthy excitement when you declare it the right job for you because your horoscope said so.

Follow up in a day or two with a nice email.
