I just started working in a smal bussiness. MY friend is the director and i am just the other worker there. THe owner of this facility hired these marketing people to help us with advertising. The marketing lady(lets say Judy) Does not like me. She is very short and rude with me and always treats me like a little girl. She is wealthy and snobby. I told her an idea the other day and she told me that i really have to thnk about things i do seriously(meaning it wasnt a good idea) but the my friend the director ran the idea by her again she said it was a good idea. Since this marketing lady has worked for us she has not made us any more money, we have not been getting more calls. She keeps on advertising everything into ritzy towns....and they dont want what we have. She has a mutual friendship with the owner of the bussiness. I dont know what to do? I may want to quit because i feel like i cant get any furth with her involved in the bussiness, she treats me like im "the secretary"

I went for an interview last week, and just got my rejection letter. I have now attended four job interviews in the last htree months, and have received four rejections. I have tried to rise about it but it is hard. I feel so upset and hurt. What do I do next? Is it worth employing a career coach? Thanks.

Which of the following options is ideal?

1. Sending money by WesterMoney transfer?
2. Opening a savings bank account in some bank in Muscat itself and bring the money whenever I come to India?
3. Bring it in the form of jewels? In that case what is the maximum weight allowed for a person?
Is there any other feasible option?

Pls reply

Listed my boss from old job as reference in job applications. Is it normal to do this without contacting them about it first? Had an OK relationship with my boss but haven't talked to her in several years. Should I call or write a letter to her notifying her that she's used as a reference, or is that generally not expected?

Personally, I'd rather not bother her about it.

I'm a 20 year old business major who recently started looking for jobs on some career websites! I found there are lots of direct marketing jobs that offer things like paid training, and opportunities for advancement, but i need to know if they are legitimate businesses, I have checked out the website, but anyone can make a good website these days, no its not an MLM as far as I can see right now, and they are not asking for any money from me! but I want to know if it is truly a money making opportunity and a way to get a foot in the door of sales and marketing, so let me know your experiences!
so you know some of the companies I've interviewed with are new direction promotions, scanno advertising, o.c. marketing and tld and associates, let me know especially if you have worked with any of these they are located in cali, they all seem to do the same type of thing

I'm a freshman in college, and I have the opportunity to work at either Knotts Berry Farm(theme park) or the East West Bank. On one hand working at knotts seems fun, but one the other working at a bank seems like a more lucrative job. I'm leaning towards Knotts because I want to have fun this summer and get to meet new people. On the other hand working at a bank seem somewhat boring and dull. What do you guys think?

I am very unsure about what i want to do for my life and i am only 16 and yes i know i'm young but by the time i am 18 i am hoping to move out and live my own life. I don't know what to do for my career. I get more interested in becoming an actress everyday but, because of the possibilities of me making it big is SOOO LOW i am very scared to attempt it. I have absolutely no experience as an actress and i don't want to do plays i want to do big movies so.because i can't make it as an actress i am wondering what else i could do, i am not that smart, i'm not an idiot but school is difficult for me than it might be for others. My family is NOT well off at all and struggles very much so they can't help me financially if i were to take any chances about pursuing dreams. I'm really not that good at anything, i like music, can't sing or write songs, i like fashion industry but am not a designer, i like to write but not books just write about feelings but writers don't make much at all HELP!!

I am interviewing for a job and I want to do well.
I have experience with interviews on both sides and I know the basic questions and how to answer them.
This job is a little different though. They are highly motivated towards social justice, oppression, and multiculturalism.
I have a lot of education and experience in these fields so I'm not at a loss here.
What I want is some possible interview questions.
One question they asked when applying was. How do you define oppression and how has it impacted your life.

Any interview question ideas related to this would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Let's say you're interviewing for a job in your field. Currently, you're not working in your field because you needed to do some other work to make ends meet and now you want to go back into your field. If the interviewer asks you, What are you doing currently? and Why do you want to go back to your field?, what would be your responses?
