I've just started working in a new place . I am a language teacher. Things were running smoothly untill my principal started to delegate some important role to me such as finding a new teacher for the centre, getting some message across to some teachers , well most of the teachers don't really like the way she runs the place because she is really inexperience. anyway one of the teacher the senior one seems ok with me in the beginning untill recently she started to show some kind of dislike on me , well that really upsets me . well do I have choice? I just like helping people and futhermore I have more experience in doing it. Nothing more.
I like to work in a happy environment and nothing more. Could someone help me with the situation?

I mean some people choose to just work at macdonalds or something, get a macdology degree. While they can just go to school for 4 years and get a degree which will atleast give them three times as much money?

I know there are people who dont have a choice due to family matters or very tight situations but for the most part i see many teenagers that just drop out for no reason and work at fast food restaurants.

I'm a high school student.
I was wondering if i want to do something related to law and the legal profession (but not a lawyer, so if i was talking about being a doctor the answer would be a nurse) but only go to college to obtain a bachlors degree, what are the options if I want to make at least 70,000 a year?

I am now 35 years of age. I have not worked before , just in a school as a nursery teacher for a year and long back in another school. Recently I have done my DNIIT (in software engineering)and have scored a good percentage above 85% from NIIT. I can not do GNIIT due to my age. So its one year short of GNIIT that means I am not doing placement but rest qualification is same. I am topping my batch too. Can I still find a job somewhere. I can do even faculty work have no hassels about it. My strong skills are Java , J2EE, Sql and VB.net , Asp.net . I know c++ too but not very comfortable with it. I mean I will have to go through with it once more before an interview. what are my chances?

Check was mailed, there are no other issues--we are very good tenants (he has promised to make repairs for over a year and still has not, and he's filthy rich). He showed up at the door this late! He didn't even try to call--just "stopped by on my way from work." What a jerk. I'm ticked. Sorry, just had to vent! Tell me your fabulous landlord woes!

If you were me, what would you do? After college, I have been working in the I.T. industry for three years and am making a decent salary. I've worked very hard to get up to this level I'm at now. My father has been doing business for approximately five years; the business is growing and is very profitable. Although he started the business late, it is still successful. He will retire soon and going to give his business to me. I know nothing about his business, but I have started learning it part-time. Hopefully, by the time he retires, I have adequate knowledge to run it. I will then quit I.T. and continue the business. I know I have already made up my decision. Please don't ask me why I'm asking it - if you were me, would you give a second thought of this decision?

I've been working at a small business for about 7 months, and this was my first job. How can I tell them "I quit" in the best possible way? I plan on giving them 2 weeks notice, but should I do it right when i walk in for work, or wait until the end of the day?

Are the duties similar to those in accounting, e.g. processing invoices?

2007-03-13 15:55:14 · 3 answers · asked by willie 4

I am very interested in accounting and currently pursuing a degree in it. I know that it is profitable, but how profitable. Is it profitable to where I can live in a million dollar home in a million dollar neighborhood, or is it profitable to the extent where I live in a nice home in a middle class neighborhood. I am very ambitious so do I need to acquire other degrees like a law degree or a mba to make the most of it. I also have an interest in law so would it be o.k to get some kind of law degree in graduate school or something else instead so I can make the max in terms of income?

My Mother in Law was quite happy with this company until this person came along. Now she has her convinced to hire her and pay her under the table. My husband says, its her money and its her decision. I'm worried about the legal liabilities and her estate is quite large. I know that this woman has already been off on workers comp 2 times while working for this firm. What is the legalality of this? how do I protect her? I do not trust this woman at all, but noone seems to listen to what I see and feel.
