Ask yourself if you were a hiring manager and a resume came across your desk with this item on it, would you think it is silly and possibly a little pathetic to include it, or would you be impressed? It is hard for any of us to say because we don't know what kind of job you are applying for or what kind of education is expected. That can make all the difference.

If you are entering a job market where most of the candidates have four-year degrees or at least considerable college experience, you should not include anything about high school except the name of the school and your graduating GPA (and if the diploma came with honors).

If they are pertinent to the job you are applying for you can include honors and awards. If you got a "reward" for something in high school, like finding a wallet or something, I wouldn't bother.
