In SC i believe the legal age to work is 15 ( i was born and raised there) Try getting a part time job in a strip mall at some of the little shops. You can only work a 20 hr week, so some of them like to have you on as an 'On Call' status. You would have to be available so if someone gets sick you can come in. Usually small shops and businesses will do this sort of thing.

I swear...the legal age of working is 16, isn't it? Wait one more year. Or a few months. Depending on when you're birthday is. And when you ARE legally old enough to work, try a book store. Until then, you can do odd jobs for people you know that live around you.

Hi,I knew this 10 year old who load up a wagon full of beverages and bring them to construction sites such as new track homes,he was lucky to be in walking distance. The constuction workers loved him! His prices were better than the "roach coaches".I hope he can use this idea, that kid made alot of money for just a little "start up investment".Good luck!
