Does anyone out there know how much an x-ray tech makes annually?

Does anyone out there in the state of California know what the salary range of a limited x-ray tech who is licensed and know able to take digital x-rays?

My cousin is an X-Ray Tec.
He started out at 12.80 HR.
30,720.00 Year
He now makes around
18.00 HR.
43,200.00
He hopes to finish out at
around 22.80 HR.
or 54,720.00

Well lets see... FIRST OF ALL... Its X-Ray Technologist... we are not technicians. It is a very safe carear.. personally people make the whole radiaition a big deal... it seriously isnt. I went to school trust me i know. Yes u should be protected but every gets some radiaition. In Florida starting out your basically looking at about 18-20 dollars per hour. Its a 2 Year Program, but after you get your licence as a tech you can go into other things such as CT or MRI which pay more. Stress? Ehh its not too bad... your gonna have your busy days.. but overal its not bad.. I like it.

It depends on the state that you reside and what type of xray license that you have limited or full or course california pays more because of the cost of living but I believe that $25per hr to start is the low end.

Come to Canada!
as a started salary you would make about $55 000 US if you were in a city...
if you went to a rural area your starting could be as much at $70000US

yea, where!!!? what state?? in california where i am they make 30-50k
that might be a general rough estimate nationwide if u in usa. probably not below 30 and not above 50 or so
